Captain Amy, a native of Oklahoma, came to Key West back
in 1999 shortly after graduating from college. Though her
body was land locked, her mind was always in and on the
ocean. Embracing the difficult path of becoming a captain,
she worked her way up through the ranks of what is
traditionally a male dominated profession to succeed, and
succeed big. In 2007, with little more than a dream and some
fins, she started Island Time Charters. Since then, she has
become famous all over the world for her prowess with a
speargun and a lobster net. Though a true woman in life, on
the water she has crushed the traditionally male dominated
profession of hunting by becoming a leader and a guide to

Captain Jamie grew up fishing, diving, spearfishing,
lobstering, and free diving in the Florida waters and the
Keys. The greatest gift of his parents was saturating him in
the water from the age of 2. It was inevitable that he would
eventually find himself in Key West running charters. A diver
at 14, instructor at 19, and Instructor Trainer at 22, it was clear
this was his path. So after a 14 year stint as a "productive
member of society" with a "real grown up" job, he moved to
Key West to follow his heart. He says with a smile now "I'll
never go back".

Captain Tim rounds out our full time crew as an key
member of the Island Time gang. As an accomplished
Divemaster and angler, Captain Tim came down to Key
West several years ago in search of warm waters and
bright skies. A new Englander by birth and a freshwater
conch by choice, Tim is best described as a humble
gentleman. He is a very skilled angler and finds himself
at home on the right end of a Tarpon rod often. Another
rare find, Tim is just as comfortable introducing new
anglers to the wonderful sport of fishing as he is
fighting the elusive Silver Kings on the flats. His
charisma is matched only by his genuine desire to make
every charter better than the last.
